Searching For Esperanto is the debut album from LiQuid Metamorphosis (formerly Leedsquietman or LQM) and combines a blend of influences and sounds form the late 60’s through 1980’s alternative and 1990’s Shoegazing/Britpop styles. It is mostly an alternative rock flavour with some psychedelic colourings. The music is all produced and performed by musician M.J.Brown, who was born in the U.K. but moved to the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario, Canada in 2000.
The album was started in the summer of 2006 and completed in early 2008 with other work commitments and musical projects sandwiched inbetween. This album was recorded digitally using Ableton Live 6 and 7 *Suite* and Cubase SX3, with a combination of real instruments and software simulations from the likes of Arturia and Native Instruments.
